Does the use of high SPF sunscreen lotion burden the skin?

SPF level is not a decisive factor in determining how much the product may burden the skin.
Shiseido offers high SPF level sunscreens with fine textures which cause fewer burdens on the skin, even for users with sensitive skin.
However, when removing sunscreen, harsh cleansing or scrubbing could cause irritation to sensitive skin. In these cases, high SPF level sunscreen may feel like a cause of skin irritation.

Are there any problem using body care products on my face?

Body care products are not recommended to be used on your face, as skin density varies by the area of face and body.
The skin on the eyelids and skin around the eyes is the thinnest, and the skin on the hands and bottom of the feet is the thickest. Body care products are made assuming that they are used for body parts with thicker skin, which is normally covered by clothes.

Can I use the same sunscreen this year that I used last year?

You can use it if you can confirm the quality has not changed by checking the “condition”, “color”, and “smell”. If anything is unusual, refrain from using the product.
For sunscreen lotion or other cosmetic products you want to use after an extended period of time, please check the conditions below. If there are no particular changes, the product may be used.
  1. 1. Changes in the condition such as separation, softening, or oil floating.

  3. 3. Changes in the smell.

How can I clean off sunscreen on my clothes?

In general, removing stains becomes more difficult as time passes, so it is best to address them as quickly as possible.
Put a cloth under the clothes with stains and dab it with a cloth or cotton soaked with rubbing alcohol. If the stain still remains, apply alcohol directly to the stain and rub fabric. Wipe off oil onto another cloth.
This method may damage your clothes depending on the kind of the fiber or manufacturing method, so it is best to first test this cleaning method on patch of cloth that is not visible. If no problems occur in the test patch, apply directly to stain. (If it is difficult to test, we recommend consulting a cleaner.) Wash the clothes at home or with a dry cleaner after removing stain. If clothes get stained while on-the-go, dabbing stain with a wet wipe may be effective.
